Knox Current (KC) captures who a player is right now — present-tense quality, adjusted for form, availability, and confidence.
• Production — The statistical base layer. KC starts with what a player is actually producing relative to position and league context. • Trend — Momentum matters. Recent movement, role changes, and short-horizon form keep KC present-tense instead of season-stale. • Availability — The best player unavailable is not the same as the best player ready right now. Health and active role shape current utility. • Confidence — Every number carries certainty. Small samples, thin data, or unstable roles reduce confidence instead of pretending precision.
