The Definitive Roster
The All-Time NFL Team
One roster. The best player at every position across the entire history of the league — chosen by the numbers, not a vote. A full offense, a base defense, and the specialists.

Skill and defensive positions are ranked by KV-H (Knox Value Historical) — career production quality, era-normalized. Offensive line and specialists have no per-play production stat in the encyclopedia, so they are ranked by accolades (All-Pro selections, then Pro Bowls, then Hall-of-Fame status) — the honest available signal. Each slot is labeled with its method.
This is a data verdict, not the eye-test consensus. KV-H is era-normalized but its coverage is richest from 1999 on, so the team skews modern and legends with pre-1999 peaks (Montana, Rice, L.T.) rank lower than memory says. QB scores compress because passing volume is era-inflated. We surface what the data says and tell you exactly how — we don’t hand-pick names to match the poster on your wall. Built Jul 14, 2026.
