Every time a player led the league in a major statistic, StatVault credits a Leader Mark. Every top-10 finish earns a Top-10 Mark. Together they separate one-season spikes from repeated category dominance.

Methodology.Leader Marks = seasons a player finished rank 1 in a major category (passing/rushing/receiving yards & TDs, receptions, sacks, interceptions). Top-10 Marks = top-10 finishes (inclusive of league titles). Counts are unweighted and auditable against the
year-by-year leader boards they come from. Coverage is gated to 1999–2025: pre-1999 season boards are only partially digitized, and a leader computed over an incomplete field would be false. A player's true mark total is therefore a lower bound for anyone who also led the league before 1999.
